2019 Bay Area Fun Festival Road Closures
ROADS CLOSED Saturday, Sept 21st between 9:00 am – 11:30 am
THE PREFONTAINE MEMORIAL RUN ROUTE
The run route begins at Anderson Avenue and 4th Street (former Fire Department site) and continues west on Anderson Avenue onto Central, then onto Ocean Blvd. and ending at Norman Street. The route then returns back on Ocean Blvd. to Central and turns south on 10th Street passing Blossom Gulch Elementary School turning east onto Elrod Street then south on S. 9thStreet. The route ends at the Marshfield High School track.

FUN FESTIVAL PARADE ROUTE
Parade route begins at Golden & S. 4th St. heading north on S. 4th St. to Commercial Ave. turning east on Commercial Ave. to 2nd Street. Turn right heading south on 2nd Street to Anderson Ave., turn right on to Anderson Ave. for about 80 ft. then turn left (south) on 2nd Street head south to Elrod Ave. where the parade ends.
CRUZ THE COOS

CRUZ THE COOS ROUTE
The Cruz Staging begins at Golden and S. 2nd St. Cars will make their way to the Cruz Start by heading north on S. 2nd St. to Anderson Ave. where it will weave its way up and down 2nd, 3rd and 4th St. (See Map). The cruise begins at 6:00 PM at 4th and Central.

NO PARKING IS ALLOWED FROM 9/20/19 – 9/21/19
All area residents and visitors should be aware that for the safety of the runners, parade participants and cruisers, all drivers will be prohibited from entry to these streets between the posted times and will need to use alternate routes. Coos Bay Police Officers, City staff, National Guard, and many volunteers will be posted throughout these event routes and will be available to assist the public redirecting them to alternate routes as needed.
